From the start of treatment for Hepatitis C in 2008 through six years free of the virus, I share feelings and observations.

Preparing to Speak
I'm writing up a narrative of my experience with Hep C, as a basis for speaking about HepC and the need for diagnosis and treatment. I'll meet with a rep of American Liver Foundation this week. Three people would go as a team to community centers, rehab programs, prisons.
Books surround me, yet I always seem to need one more. I've been a writer, actor, dancer, dance therapist, secretary, Methodist minister, certified chemical dependency counselor. I've been out of action for years with illnesses. I have enjoyed several blogs, prompting me to try it. It's like talking to myself, only not.
